Hello there, my dear beautiful people!

Please, first, let me introduce myself to you.

I am Rasima Zderic, (Croatia) and I was born and raised in one of the most beautiful towns named Sisak. Sisak is located an hour away from the capital town Zagreb. Many of you who knows me, know that I have attended high school as a hairdresser in my hometown. But, what many of you don't know is that; since I was 15 years old and got into high school, I have worked as a waitress at my auntie's restaurant in Rovinj (seaside in Croatia). The restaurant's name is "Torkolo" and I was going there for 3 years to work, during the high- school summer holidays. After I graduated, I went back to Rovinj, to my auntie's restaurant for another two years and worked there only during the summer times. Honestly, I hated that job. But later I have realized that was a great experience in my life. I have learned so much about waitressing but, even more about myself and how strong am I actually. I had a great opportunity to learn to speak German Language and Italian Language, as I have already spoken English. We never know what kind of knowledge we can pick up on the way in our lives. In between waitressing job, I have got a great opportunity to work as a hairdresser in my hometown. Of course, that I have excepted that job. That's what I wanted to do, that was my dream job and still is. I have stayed there for one year only, because my boss haven't paid me my wages on time. The year after I have applied for the job at the Job Centre in my hometown and I have got the job on Island Krk as a waitress. That was a love at first sight, I love seaside, beaches and swimming, that's why I have decided to move to Island Krk for good and stay there. I have met my husband there which I got married 3 years after. I continued to work as waitress for another 5 years and that's where I am coming back to waitressing job and how useful was it for me. Because, I was growing and learning and picking up some new experiences, I have decided that is time for next step in my life. So, I have decided to set up my own hair salon in town Krk, which I have started in a partnership with my friend. By the law in Croatia, to be able to open a hair salon over there, I needed to pass a test as the "MASTER HAIRDRESSER". After two years, my friend decided to step out of the business, so I continued to work alone and that was for another 4 years. In summer 2014., my husband and I decided to leave Croatia and to start our new life somewhere else. So, we have picked up the UK on the list to be our new country. I am working as a hairdresser here in England for 5 years now. For a three years, I was a chair renter but, two years ago I have decided to set up my first business in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Today, I am a small business owner of a hair salon "OUR WAY HAIR & BEAUTY LTD" in Huddersfield and I am really proud of myself and really proud to look back at my life. I have accomplished so much till now. Now; I am living my dream! Thank you very much for all your support and for taking time to get to know me, by reading my life story.
